Third year of uni is well and truly underway, and it’s true what they say: it really is busy! But I am having a lot of fun and thoroughly enjoying the year so far – I am currently in the full throws of writing my dissertation, as well as continuously making new paintings in my studio.

My studio practice and my dissertation have been inspiring each other very nicely; I am writing about landscape painting and the Romantic tradition, which has been very useful for contextual research and understanding the sublime qualities of my paintings.
I am currently 4279 words down, and counting…!
